Use this outline when quoting a small business website. Change every quantity and assumption to match the actual brief.
Outcome
Explain what visitors should be able to understand or do after launch. Keep the outcome separate from promises about sales or search rankings.
Deliverables
Specify the number of pages, responsive layouts, form behavior, content migration, testing and handoff. Include the number of review rounds.
Timeline
Separate discovery, design, build and review. Identify client dependencies such as approved copy, images and consolidated feedback.
Pricing and exclusions
Price each deliverable or phase, then state whether hosting, domain registration, copywriting, stock assets and ongoing maintenance are included. A change request should receive a new estimate before work begins.
